Widgets a Cool New Way to Market Your Blog

I discovered a cool new way to market my dental marketing blog today at Widgetbox.com that only took about 15 minutes to set up.
To make your own blog widget or “blidget” like this one, visit Widgetbox.com, click on the “Make a Widget” link in the main navigation and select the BLOG/FEED option.
Enter the URL of your blog’s xml feed, customize your appearance, add a little info and voila, your own blidget!

Add a Google Map to Your Website Using Your Street Address

I recently completed a project using the Google Maps API to add Google Maps to clients’ websites using their street address and I thought I’d pass the code along.
My Google Maps API sample code centers the map on the desired street address, includes zoom and arrow controls, and allows you to create your own map marker title and description using HTML. Enjoy!
